4 cornerback prospects the Falcons should be watching at the NFL Draft Combine

2. Trevon Diggs, Alabama

As usual, Alabama prospects find their way into this kind of list almost every single time. Trevon Diggs is one of the better cornerback options in the NFL Draft this year and would be a great fit for the Atlanta defense.

Diggs racked up 37 tackles, three interceptions, a defensive touchdown, and eight defended passes with the Crimson Tide in 2019. The Falcons need more playmaking in their secondary and Diggs can bring that. He is also an excellent cover corner.

Another aspect to Diggs is the size that he brings to the field at the cornerback position. He stands in at 6-foot-2 and 207 pounds, which would give him the ability to jump with bigger wide receivers. Atlanta should take a long, hard look at Diggs in the draft.
