Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow has come to life over the last several weeks, and it’s reflected in the fact that the Bengals have won three games in a row to improve to 4-3.

Pro Football Focus took a gander at just how great Burrow has been during Cincinnati’s current winning streak.

Burrow has thrown eight touchdowns and just two interceptions over his last three contests, which is in stark contrast to his first four games where he totaled two touchdowns and two picks.

The 26-year-old had been dealing with a calf injury that had been plaguing him since training camp, but he certainly looks much healthier in recent weeks.

On the season overall, Burrow has thrown for 1,513 yards, 10 touchdowns and four interceptions while completing 66.3 percent of his passes and posting a passer rating of 87.5.

Obviously, those numbers aren’t great as a whole, but that’s only because Burrow was so terrible over the first four weeks of the 2023 campaign.

The Bengals had gotten off to a 1-3 start and looked finished, especially with Burrow not even looking remotely close to himself. However, Joe Burrow and the team have both rebounded and now sit just one-and-a-half games behind the Baltimore Ravens for first place in the competitive AFC North.

What’s more, Cincinnati put together a magnificent win over the San Francisco 49ers this past weekend, beating the 49ers by a score of 31-17.

Cincy is looking to make the playoffs for the third straight year after missing the postseason five straight times between 2016 and 2020.

It will still be an uphill battle for the Bengals, as their schedule for the remainder of the season is very unforgiving. They have a matchup with the Buffalo Bills this Sunday, and they will also battle the Ravens and the Jacksonville Jaguars over the next five weeks.

Regardless, Cincinnati is certainly in a much better spot now than it was a month ago.
