Cowboys have the NFL’s worst defense
Speaking of the Cowboys inability to contain their opponents, Monday night’s defeat was another reminder the team has the worst defense in football. They have surrendered a league-high 36.3 points per contest.
Their 31st-ranked rush defense is noticeably atrocious. The Cowboys lack the quickness to keep up with speedy running backs. It’s a big reason why they have permitted 173.3 yards per game on the ground.
Their defense is certainly not equipped to deal with a mobile QB like Murray, who leads the NFL in rush yards per attempt (7.3). The Cardinals ran all over the Cowboys, accumulating 261 rush yards with 7.5 yards per carry.
The Dallas defense has allowed 218 points through six games, fifth-most in NFL history.
