Matt Nagy Should Stick With Nick Foles At QB
Benching Mitchell Trubisky was going to be inevitable this season. After acquiring Nick Foles in an offseason trade with the Jacksonville Jaguars, it was clear that the Bears were going to give him a shot at some point.
Coming into the game and leading a comeback win over the Falcons should earn Foles the start in Week 4 against the Indianapolis Colts.
Foles is simply a better quarterback. He is a better leader, a better passer, and much more consistent. Trubisky didn’t do anything wrong, but he struggles to move the football at the level the Bears need.
Chicago doesn’t want to give up on Trubisky, but Foles should be their guy moving forward. If Foles struggles, switching back to Trubisky is always an option.
