4 major takeaways from the Falcons vs. Bears matchup in Week 3

The Falcons’ Offense Goes As Julio Jones Goes

Without Julio Jones on the field, the Falcons looked lost. They made some plays early in the game, but had nothing against the Bears late. Matt Ryan was unable to get anything going.

Calvin Ridley is a beast and caught five passes for 110 yards. However, there is absolutely nothing consistent behind him. Russell Gage went down with an injury, but the Falcons need their superstar wideout on the field.

Jones is still arguably the best all-around wide receiver in the game. He forces defenses to focus so heavily on him that other players are able to find openings.

Hopefully for the Falcons, Jones will be back at 100 percent next week. Their start to the 2020 season has been absolutely depressing. Blowing wins left and right is hard to bounce back from.
