Sam Darnold Has Not Developed How The Jets Hoped

In addition to Adam Gase being on the hot seat, the Jets have to be concerned with what they are seeing from Sam Darnold. He is in his third NFL season and has not shown anything close to the development that New York was hoping to see.

Darnold does not look like a winning franchise quarterback. There is no question that he has big-time talent, but it isn’t showing on the field.

New York has been trying to make moves to get back into contention. Unfortunately, the Jets need their quarterback to play well to make that happen. Darnold simply isn’t getting the job done.

Hopefully, that will change as the season moves forward. If it doesn’t, the Jets may have to consider their options at the quarterback position.
