The Colts Have The Real Deal In Jonathan Taylor

Finally, the Colts made one of the best picks in the 2020 NFL Draft in the second round when they selected running back Jonathan Taylor. Due to the season-ending Achilles injury suffered by Marlon Mack, the rookie has become the starter much earlier than expected.

Taylor had another quality performance this week against the Jets. He carried the football 13 times for 59 yards and a touchdown. They weren’t huge numbers, but they were solid.

On the season, Taylor has racked up 182 yards and two touchdowns on the ground. Those numbers are exactly what the Colts need to take pressure off of Philip Rivers.

Looking to the future, Taylor has shown some star potential. He was a superstar in college for Wisconsin and his game has translated well to the NFL.
