Derek Carr Is Back And A Capable Franchise Quarterback

If there were any serious questions about whether or not the Raiders should stick with Derek Carr at quarterback, he has answered them.

Completing 24 of his 32 pass attempts for 261 yards, two touchdowns, and no interceptions was impressive. The Patriots have a really good defense, which made this performance even more impressive.

Las Vegas had to play Week 3 without dynamic rookie wide receiver Henry Ruggs III. Carr made the most of it and Hunter Renfrow became his favorite target. Renfrow ended up catching six passes for 84 yards and a touchdown.

Carr is without question a capable franchise quarterback for the Raiders. He is proving that the team should stick with him not just for this year, but moving forward as well.
