Henry Ruggs III, Wide Receiver, Raiders
On the other side of the field, the Raiders are going to be relying heavily on their first-round rookie wide receiver. Henry Ruggs III had a decent debut against the Panthers, but it wasn’t a huge performance. He caught three passes for 55 yards.
This week, the Raiders have to play a much better game than they did against Carolina. The Saints are a legitimate Super Bowl contender.
Ruggs will need to step up for Derek Carr and the offense. He is the No. 1 wideout now with Tyrell Williams out and Hunter Renfrow isn’t the guy who will make the dynamic plays.
If Ruggs can step up and put together a breakout performance in his second NFL game, the Raiders could have a chance. Las Vegas needs to put up points in bunches to stick with the Saints and Ruggs can help with that goal.
