Alvin Kamara, Running Back, Saints

Next up for the Saints, without Michael Thomas on the field, they will need their star running back to step up. Kamara is without question one of the top dual-threat running backs in the NFL, but for some reason New Orleans has not been trying to get him the ball as much as many would expect.

Kamara carried the football just 12 times for 16 yards and a touchdown in Week 1 against Tampa Bay. He also caught five passes for 51 yards and a score.

Granted, two touchdowns is nothing to be disappointed about. However, the Saints will need to get Kamara the football a lot more this week without Thomas available.

Sean Payton needs to focus on establishing Kamara early and often. He needs to get more carries and the Saints need to work Kamara into their passing game more. A big game from Kamara would go a long way towards the Saints moving to 2-0 on the young season.
