Who would have thought this would have been an undefeated matchup? The Washington Football Team will travel to Arizona to take on the Cardinals in a battle of 1-0 teams this week. Both teams were able to get the better of divisional opponents that were viewed as the better team.

Washington came back from 17 points down against the Philadelphia Eagles on the back of their defensive front. Ryan Kerrigan and Chase Young led a charge that finished with eight sacks of Carson Wentz in a 27-17 victory.

For the Cardinals, Kyler Murray was able to get going using his legs as an advantage against an elite San Francisco 49ers defense. Through the air, DeAndre Hopkins got comfortable quick in his first game with his new teams. Hopkins finished with 14 catches for 151 yards.

This game will be the home opener for the Cardinals. One of these two teams will continue their journey as an early season surprise around the league. There will be factors for each side that will be important to step up and execute. Washington and Arizona are built in different ways and will rely on different parts of their team to win games in 2020.
