4. Derek Wolfe
As the offseason approaches, Arizona needs to find a way to bolster their defensive front. When the new league year begins in March, Rodney Gunter is set to become an unrestricted free agent.
Over the past five seasons, Gunter hasn’t quite produced the way that Arizona wanted him to. However, Gunter did have one of the better seasons of his career in 2019 with three sacks, nine tackles for loss, and 10 quarterback hits.
Even though Arizona could bring Gunter back, they could replace him with someone like Derek Wolfe. Wolfe has spent eight seasons with the Denver Broncos and could reunite with Vance Joseph in Arizona.
The veteran defensive end was able to record seven sacks, eight tackles for loss, 12 quarterback hits, and a forced fumble in 2019. Along with his pass-rushing ability, Wolfe can give Arizona some help in the run game, where they ranked 24th in the NFL this season.
