Russell Wilson Will Be Too Much to Handle
Russell Wilson is a top-three quarterback in the NFL. He is elite on every single level. Wilson has top-five arm talent, top-five running ability, and is likely the best QB at extending plays and making big throws downfield. He delivers beautiful throws week in and week out, making impossible plays look routine.
This was never more evident than in Week 5 last season when Wilson put on an incredible show against the Los Angeles Rams. Take a look at the NFL Network’s Brian Baldinger breaks some of his best moments.
As Baldinger said, Wilson is virtually impossible to stop. He puts defenders in no-win scenarios on a regular basis. Even when the defender is in perfect position, like Eric Weddle on the throw to Lockett in the corner of the end zone, Wilson is still able to make plays happen.
The Falcons’ defense has some talented players. However, Wilson’s knowledge, creativity, and his ability to run the offense to perfection are what makes Seattle so tough to defend. He does an incredible job making something out of broken plays.
It will be hard for the Falcons, after no preseason, to come out and stop Wilson. He will torch the defense and get his MVP campaign off to a very strong start.
