2. Mike Davis Scores Again
When McCaffrey went down with a high-ankle sprain, Davis was inserted as the every down back. He has a dual-threat ability that makes him a threat in the backfield and in the passing game.
Davis has been a touchdown machine over the last four games. He has two rushing and four receiving scores thus far. Davis has 32 catches this season. He has not rushed for 100 yards, but has eclipsed 80 yards twice.
Davis is no McCaffrey, but he has been an extremely productive player and that allows the Panthers to still use their running back position as planned.
The Saints have been vulnerable to running backs this season and Davis will have a chance to exploit that. Whether it is on the ground or in the pass game, Davis will get in the end zone for the fifth straight week.
