Matt Ryan, Russell Wilson Throw for 600+ Yards

The Seahawks must let Wilson play a larger role in the offense. Over the past several years, Seattle pushed the running game early and often relegated the passing game to a secondary option.

Wilson is a perennial MVP candidate and the most complete quarterback in football. If Carroll continues keeping Wilson on a leash until the fourth quarter, the Seahawks will never win another Super Bowl.

Seattle should come out firing this season, looking for early leads, and then transitioning to the running game. Meanwhile, Atlanta must primarily rely on the passing game as well. While Gurley still has some gas in the tank, this is clearly Ryan’s team. The offense revolves around him.

Between both teams featuring questionable defenses and Pro Bowl-caliber quarterbacks, I could see Week 1 turning into a pass-happy affair.
