2. Darren Waller Breaks Out Once Again
The Raiders’ offense had begun the 2020 season with a pair of impressive performances during two wins against NFC South squads. However, they failed to build off that in Week 3, but led by Darren Waller, the Raiders will look to bounce-back.
It’s safe to say, the Raiders put the NFL on notice when they came away with a surprising win against the Saints on Monday Night Football in Week 2. A critical factor in Las Vegas’ efforts was the 12 catches, 105 yards, and one touchdown that Waller pitched in.
The Patriots made it very difficult on Waller to make much of an impact in Week 3. He finished with just two receptions and nine yards on four targets. New England essentially neutralized him — forcing other pass catching options to beat them.
When this game is over, Waller will manage to rack up over 12 catches, 100 yards, and two touchdowns. His impact will set the tone for the Raiders’ offense in a needed way.
