5. Rams Surpass 400 Yards of Offense
Coming off a Week 1 matchup with the Washington Football Team, the Eagles only gave up 239 total opponent yards of offense. That element of Phialdelphia’s performance was acceptable, but ultimately, they face a much tougher challenge against the Rams.
Against the Cowboys in Week 1, the Rams had little issues with moving the chains on offense. Los Angeles may have scored just 20 points as a team but ended with 422 total yards of offense.
The running game was important for the Rams against the Cowboys as they recorded 40 carries for 153 rushing yards and 2 touchdown runs as a team. Malcolm Brown accounted for 79 yards and both scores and will look to have another strong outing in Week 2.
Meanwhile, Jared Goff should lead the passing game well and could finish with greater production than the 275 yards he racked up against the Cowboys. The variety of talent the Rams have in their unit will be able to succeed against an underwhelming Eagles defense.
The Rams have excelled to drive up-and-down the field during the Sean McVay era. That will continue in their matchup with the Eagles, especially when considering Los Angeles stacks up quite well. It could result in an output of over 400 total yards of offense.
