3. Aaron Donald Dominates w/Multiple Sacks
The Rams faced a Cowboys team in Week 1 that had a variety of injuries on the offensive line. That was more than enough to pose problems for Dallas when it came to containing Aaron Donald.
While Donald only ended up with 1 sack against the Cowboys, he managed to produce 7 QB hurries and 2 QB hits (h/t PFF). It was a truly spectacular outing for one of the league’s best all-around players and it could be more of the same in Week 2.
It was a terrible outing for the Eagles’ offensive line when they allowed the Washington Football Team to record 8 sacks and 14 QB hits in the season opener. Those struggles will continue for Philadelphia against the Rams.
It’s going to be a genuine struggle for the Eagles to prevent Donald from wreaking havoc as a pass rusher. Expect him to bring down Carson Wentz multiple times in this matchup.
