4. Dallas Goedert Will Outshine Zach Ertz
With the status of Miles Sanders up in the air for the Eagles in Week 2, Carson Wentz will need to place a strong emphasis on the tight end position in passing situations once again. How that shakes out could be that Dallas Goedert outperforms Zach Ertz again.
In Week 1, the Eagles did not have many standout performances, but one player that had that type of impact was Goedert. He managed to haul in 8 catches off 9 targets, resulting in 101 receiving yards and 1 touchdowns. He was by far the most productive receiving option for Phialdelphia.
Meanwhile, Zach Ertz was held to 3 receptions for 18 yards and 1 touchdowns as a focus of the Washington Football Team’s game-plan. He was limited in his impact and considering he’s seeking a long-term contract, that’s certainly less than ideal.
The emergence of Goedert will continue and he will manage to thrive once again for the Eagles during their matchup with the Rams. His production will not just manage to stack up quite well against Ertz. Instead, it will be better.
