Philadelphia Eagles
In recent years, the Philadelphia Eagles have proven to be aggressive when it comes to acquiring talented players via trade. Just earlier this offseason, the Eagles were able to land Darius Slay from the Detroit Lions for multiple draft picks.
Besides adding Slay, Philadelphia chose to re-sign Jalen Mills, with the intention of moving him to strong safety. Of course, that is the position that Malcolm Jenkins held for the past six seasons. Nonetheless, the Eagles decided not to pick up Jenkins’ team option this offseason.
Regardless of whether or not the Eagles are confident in Mills, Adams is an immediate upgrade for Philadelphia’s secondary. While Howie Roseman — the GM of the Eagles — would need to conjure up some of his cap space magic, luring Adams from the Jets would be a welcomed addition by the fans in Philadelphia.
