5 NFL Superstars We’d Love To See Get Traded Next

The NFL offseason is quickly coming to an end as training camp is only a few weeks away. Before we know it, the 2023 regular season will be upon us. But, before the games get underway, there is still some work to do for franchises around the league.

There will be plenty of positional battles taking place around the NFL as players vie for starting gigs and rotational roles around the league. Some will just be fighting for the end of the roster spots, looking to make a good impression with the coaching staff.

Some big trades could also get done between now and the regular season. Big names are seeking new contracts, which could lead to deals being made as teams don’t want to shell out big money. Or, teams in need of a rebuild that have stars on their roster that they can cash in on.

Who could be on the move in the coming weeks? Here are five NFL superstars we’d love to see get traded next.

5. WR Cooper Kupp, Los Angeles Rams

The Los Angeles Rams are in a tough spot. They saw a ton of talented players depart this offseason as they attempt to get their salary cap situation under control. After winning the Super Bowl to cap off the 2021 season, things have changed drastically.

Almost their entire defense from that team is gone outside of Aaron Donald. Matthew Stafford and Cooper Kupp are the last pillars of the offense that remain. In a reset year, if the Rams really want to improve their long-term outlook, trading Kupp makes sense.

Kupp ended last season on injured reserve but remains an elite wide receiver in the league. Based on what other wide receivers around the NFL have netted in trades, Los Angeles should be able to get quite a haul in exchange for him.

That would help set the franchise up for the future, which is currently bleak. Under contract for four more seasons with an out after two, the team acquiring him knows they could have him on the roster for years to come.
