Green Bay Packers
The Green Bay Packers have been calling Lambeau Field their home stadium since 1965. Even before that, the stadium was completed in 1957 and was given the name ‘New City Stadium’ for its first eight years of existence.
Nevertheless, the Packers have always had a large showing at games in the NFL, with fans sporting cheeseheads to support their favorite team. When Aaron Rodgers gets a chance to play at Lambeau Field, he’s able to manipulate the snap count while the opposing team is unable to do the same with loud fans filling the stadium with noise.
In addition, the ‘Lambeau Leap’ has become a popular celebration for Packers players over the years. With no fans present, the Lambeau Leap wouldn’t have the same meaning behind it.
