There are Fantasy Football managers who are itching to make a move. Sometimes it is out of necessity, such as an injury occurring to one of your best players. Or, your team is off to a slow start and you want to shake things up because one of your projected starters isn’t playing well.

Those managers looking to move top picks after a tough start are where value can be found. If you are a Fantasy Football manager looking to take advantage of such situations, there are a few players that you should be targeting this week. Here are five buy-low targets after Week 2.

If you are looking for running back help, seek out the manager in your league who has Dameon Pierce of the Houston Texans on their team. The Texans said they would get Pierce involved more in Week 2 and they did, but his production didn’t improve.

He ran the ball 15 times for only 31 yards, adding two receptions for four yards. It was encouraging that Pierce received the workload that he did as they were down 14-0 before their second drive even began. Mike Boone was a healthy scratch, which opened up the opportunity for more snaps as well.

Things should improve once the Houston offensive line gets healthy. They invested a lot into that group to keep C.J. Stroud upright and their return to the lineup will benefit Pierce as well.

Another running back worth taking a shot at acquiring is Kenneth Gainwell of the Philadelphia Eagles. After Week 1 he was a Fantasy Football darling, dominating the team’s backfield. A week later, no one knows what the future holds after he missed Week 2 with an injury and D’Andre Swift exploded.

Acquiring Gainwell is a risk given how well Swift performed. But the Eagles started the season with him in a featured role and he should be heavily involved still when healthy. Any manager with an itchy trigger finger looking to make a change could afford you a chance to acquire Gainwell for a discount.

One of the most disappointing first-round picks, outside of players who are injured, is Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase. He has recorded back-to-back games of five receptions for 30-40 yards, leaving a lot to be desired by a player many Fantasy Football managers invested a top-six pick in.

Joe Burrow has struggled to get him catchable passes, leading to 10 receptions and only 10 catchable targets. There is a huge risk in acquiring Chase as Burrow’s playing status is uncertain after he re-injured his calf. That is something crafty Fantasy Football managers can take a risk on, especially if they are off to a good start.

Another wide receiver worth looking into buying is Jerry Jeudy of the Denver Broncos. Jeudy was being worked in after missing Week 1 because of a hamstring injury and rotated with Lil’Jordan Humphrey. That is something that will change once Jeudy is back up to speed, as the window to buy-low is closing quickly.

Last but not least, tight end George Kittle of the San Francisco 49ers should garner your attention. Two blowouts to start the season have capped the production for San Francisco pass catchers as they have spent a majority of the games burning clock and leaning on the running game.

Brock Purdy has attempted only 54 passes to this point, which has limited Kittle’s opportunities. There are a lot of mouths to feed on the 49ers offensively, which can limit the upside for Fantasy Football managers in some situations. But, if you can get Kittle at a discount, unlike the people who drafted him, it is worth looking into.
