5 teams who should pursue Bengals WR AJ Green at trade deadline

San Francisco 49ers

Another team that has dealt with injuries at the position, the 49ers’ receiving corps has been a revolving door this season.

San Francisco recently released Mohamed Sanu, who was signed this season due to injuries. The Sanu experiment did not quite work out, but the 49ers could find a playmaker on the trade market in AJ Green.

The issue with acquiring Green is teams who’ve had injuries are the likeliest to need a player such as Green, but the biggest knock on Green himself is his injury history.

But if he’s healthy and able to stay on the field, he’d be an upgrade at receiver for a 49ers team whose best weapon is tight end George Kittle.
