3. Nick Foles Makes The Bears a Pretty Good Team

Not all 3-0 starts are created equal. The Chicago Bears can attest to that.

For every Green Bay team looking impressive on both sides of the ball, coasting comfortably to an undefeated start, there’s always gonna be a Chicago team that, may technically be undefeated, but looks far from one of the seven best teams in the NFL.

But help is on the the way for the Bears, because after three years and two games of the Mitchell Trubisky project— Chicago has pulled the plug and given the keys to the offense to the veteran Nick Foles. And you know what? He actually looked okay.

Foles didn’t set the world on fire, no. He didn’t look like a former Super Bowl MVP or a guy that could make a bad roster great, but Foles doesn’t need to be that for the Bears. He just needs to be better than Trubisky. Someone who can run Matt Nagy’s offense. And Foles was exactly that.

Three touchdowns through the air for Foles led to a 16-point comeback against the Atlanta Falcons and an undefeated start through three weeks for Chicago. Going forward, Foles should continue to be the starter, and he could give the Bears exactly what they need to be a good looking playoff team come the postseason.
