New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara learned of his fate from the league last week. He has been suspended three games for his role in an altercation during Pro Bowl weekend in 2022 for breaking the league’s personal-conduct policy.

Alvin Kamara expressed a lot of regret over what happened in the first statement he made about the incident last week. He is now going to be sidelined for the first three weeks of the season, with Jamaal Williams and Kendre Miller expected to handle the Saints’ backfield.

However, is there a chance that he doesn’t return to the Saints at all? According to C.J. Golson on Twitter, New Orleans has been shopping Alvin Kamara around the league since the situation with the league has been cleared up.

There are already six teams who have been in contact with the Saints about their star running back. Among those teams are the Buffalo Bills, New England Patriots and Miami Dolphins, per Colson.

Bills reporter Jeremy White doesn’t believe that Buffalo is actually in on Alvin Kamara, expressing some skepticism about the report. But, this wouldn’t be the first time that the Bills were linked to a starting running back as they were reportedly a suitor for Dalvin Cook before his release from the Minnesota Vikings.

However, the Bills did reach out to the Saints about Alvin Kamara last season ahead of the trade deadline, New Orleans turned down any overtures. Part of the reason Buffalo could be linked to him is to keep him away from their AFC East rivals.

The Dolphins and Patriots have both been in the market for running back upgrades this offseason. Both teams were also linked to Cook at points this offseason as they look to put the finishing touches on their backfields.

Adding Alvin Kamara to an offense that has Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle would produce video game numbers. Slowing down that trio would be virtually impossible with Tua Tagovailoa healthy and running the offense.

The Patriots could certainly use more weapons around Mac Jones and Alvin Kamara would be a nice addition. He and Rhamondre Stevenson would combine to be the best running back duo in the NFL with their dual-threat skill sets.
