Devin Duvernay
Even though Lamar Jackson showed vast improvements as a passer in 2019, the Baltimore Ravens lacked receiving options around him. As a matter of fact, second-year tight end Mark Andrews led the Ravens in receptions, receiving yards, and touchdowns last season.
Provided that, Baltimore made a concerted effort to add receivers in the 2020 NFL Draft, selecting Devin Duvernay and James Proche. Duvernay, the Ravens’ third-round pick, should immediately find a spot in Baltimore’s lackluster receiving corps.
Seeing how the Ravens conducted their offense in 2019, it’s evident they want to throw the ball more, but didn’t have the firepower to do so. Now, with Duvernay in the mix, Baltimore should have a much-improved passing attack in 2020.
