Khalil Mack Will Rack Up Over 15 Sacks
The only disappointing part about the 2019 season for Mack was his low sack total. However, there were some reasons that could have contributed to that issue.
One of the biggest reasons was the extra attention that offensive lines were able to give him. Akiem Hicks, the Bears’ star defensive tackle, went down with an injury. Without him on the field, Chicago’s pass rush took a big hit.
Mack will have Hicks by his side in 2020. That alone will help him rack up over 15 sacks by the end of the year.
He may not end up leading the league in sacks, but racking up 15 or more is a big feat. Mack will be back to his superstar ways and the Bears’ defense will once again be one of the most feared in the NFL.
