Buffalo Bills Trade Up For Marvin Harrison Jr. In Blockbuster Proposal

The Buffalo Bills are in desperate need of some help in their aerial attack, and they could ultimately set their sights on Ohio State wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. for assistance.

In his latest mock draft, Rob Maaddi of The Associated Press has the Bills trading all the way up to the No. 4 pick to select Harrison.

Maaddi has Buffalo sending the 28th selection, a second-round pick, a fourth-rounder, a fifth-rounder, a 2025 first-round pick and a 2025 second-rounder to the Arizona Cardinals in exchange for the fourth overall pick and a fourth-rounder.

That would obviously be a massive haul for the Cardinals, as they would be landing six picks in the deal. The question is, would Arizona feel comfortable trading down from fourth to 28th?

The Cardinals are in dire need of weapons in their own right, as they lost Marquise Brown to free agency and traded Rondale Moore. You would think they would be dead set on selecting Harrison, but maybe they would be willing to bite thinking of how much they could fill out the rest of their roster with all of those picks.

In the case of the Bills, this just shows how weak their receiving corps currently is.

Gabe Davis walked in free agency, and earlier this month Buffalo dealt Stefon Diggs to the Houston Texans in a surprising move.

That leaves the Bills with Khalil Shakir and Curtis Samuel as their top two wide outs, which is not exactly an enviable position.

Here, Buffalo would be able to land the consensus No. 1 receiver in this draft class.

Harrison is coming off of a 2023 campaign in which he caught 67 passes for 1,211 yards and 14 touchdowns. He arrived at Ohio State in 2021 but didn’t really get playing time until 2022, when he hauled in 77 receptions for 1,263 yards and 14 scores.

We’ll see if the Bills try and make a blockbuster move to snare Marvin Harrison Jr. next week.
