Second Quarter of Season
Week 5 vs. New York Giants
Daniel Jones exceeded expectations last year, which makes him a prime candidate to regress this year. If he does New York does not have enough pieces around him to stay competitive and the Cowboys get their first divisional victory.
Cowboys: 4-1
Week 6 vs. Arizona Cardinals
The Cardinals could be one of the surprise teams that end up making the playoffs. Kyler Murray needs to build on what he did last year, but if he does this will be a good team. The Cowboys embrace the Monday Night Football atmosphere which ends up slowing Murray down.
Cowboys: 5-1
Week 7 @ Washington Football Team
Washington will have a scary defensive line in 2020 led by monster Chase Young. They still have a way to go before they are competitive on a weekly basis though and Dallas improves their winning streak.
Cowboys: 6-1
Week 8 @ Philadelphia Eagles
The division has switched off between the Eagles and the Cowboys over the last few years and it will once again be a battle between these two teams in 2020. Both games between these teams should be hard hitting and close affairs. The Eagles rely on their simulated crowd to provide the difference in their first meeting.
Cowboys: 6-2
