3. Big Name Player For Bargain Price
Jadeveon Clowney entered the free agent market with a price of at least $20 million per season. As we creep closer and closer to the season, that number will not be likely. And that works in the favor of a team like the Eagles.
Philadelphia is not in the market to give a player that much per year. The Eagles would be smart to offer Clowney a one year, prove it deal. The defensive edge has recently lowered his number to $10 million per year. If the Eagles offered this for one year, Clowney would most likely accept.
With the current pandemic around the country, it has been hard to get Clowney in the building for a proper physical. This is another main reason why he has not been signed yet. If the Eagles could find a way to make sure Clowney is healthy, a deal could be on the horizon.
