Well, the 2023 NFL season continued to not disappoint in Week 12 action. With just one game left in the week, a Monday Night Football matchup between the Chicago Bears and Minnesota Vikings, fans got their fill of entertainment. Arguably the best game of the week was Jalen Hurts and the Philadelphia Eagles taking on the Buffalo Bills.

Coming into the game, the Eagles were 9-1 and were favored to pull off yet another big win. With just a minute left in regulation, no one knew if that prediction would come true. However, the Eagles were able to make a field goal with just 20 seconds left to send the game to overtime.

In overtime, the Bills came out and moved the ball down the field and kicked a field goal. Enter Hurts, who led his team on a touchdown-scoring and game-winning drive to win 37-34.

ESPN insider Adam Schefter revealed that Hurts broke a major NFL record during the big comeback win. He became the first NFL quarterback to rush for 10 touchdowns or more in three consecutive years.

Hurts had a monstrous five-touchdown performance, further improving his chances to end up winning the MVP award. He had already been a front-runner coming into this week.

On the season in 11 games played, Hurts has completed 67.6 percent of his pass attempts for 2,697 yards, 18 touchdowns, and 10 interceptions. He has also compiled 410 yards and 11 touchdowns on the ground. Those numbers have shown how dominant Hurts has become and he has been able to accomplish those feats while dealing with a nagging leg injury.

At 25 years of age, Hurts still has his fair share of doubters and critics. Despite those haters, he continues to silence them with winning. After the big Week 12 victory, the Eagles improved to 10-1 on the season and are a top-notch favorite to win the Super Bowl right now.

Next up for Jalen Hurts and the Eagles will be a massive Week 13 showdown against Brock Purdy and the San Francisco 49ers. Arguably, these are the best two teams in the NFC.

Make sure to tune in to see who comes out on top in this massive matchup at 4:25 p.m. EST on FOX!
