The Auburn Tigers are putting together a strong future with their recruiting classes and they have another great class coming in for 2025. Among those 2025 recruits is three-star tight end Ryan Ghea.

Ghea, one of the top tight end recruits for the 2025 class in the country, has the potential to become a huge part of the Tigers’ future success.

He committed to Auburn despite a lot of interest from other big schools. Among the other schools to show interest in him were Cincinnati, Arizona State, Boston College, and Colorado.

Standing in at 6-foot-5 and over 230 pounds, Ghea is an intimidating presence at the tight end position. His ability to make plays in the receiving game and also block will be a huge addition for Auburn.

As fans get excited to welcome Ghea and the 2025 Auburn recruiting class, he took the time to speak to NFL Analysis Network about his future and what he wants to accomplish for the Tigers.

First up, we asked Ghea about his decision to commit to Auburn over the other schools that were showing interest. He explained his thought process and reasoning.

“My relationships with coaches, wanting to be apart of a program that has a lot of potential and being so close to home and my family would see me very often.”

We then moved forward to discussing what Ghea brings to the field. He was happy to break down his game for fans who may not have had an opportunity to watch him play.

“I think I am very versatile. I can put hand in dirt and block the edge, I can move out and block at second level as well as being a receiving threat and red zone target.”

Ryan Ghea also talked about a few tight ends that he tries to emulate his game after.

“There are many people I try to immulate my game after guys like Mark Andrews, Travis Kelce , George Kittle and Sam LaPorta.”

It has been a few years since Auburn was viewed as a legitimate National Championship contender. However, they are building back strong towards that goal. Ghea opened up about his thoughts on the recruiting class and the future.

“I definitely think with a great 2024 class and a top ranked 2025 class we can bring it back in the next few years and I feel great with our 2025 class as of now we have a few guys hopefully getting in the class soon!”

When looking at the future, Ghea has some goals that he wants to accomplish at Auburn.

“To be the best player and student on and off the field and help bring a national title back to Auburn.”

Ghea has known that he had the talent to do something special at the NCAA level for quite some time. He opened up about when he realized he had true D1 talent.

“My freshman year, I got to play on a team that made a state championship run and got called up from freshman and I knew then, I wanted it, and had to work super hard to become a starter which I did my sophomore year.”

He also has advice for young players who are dreaming and hoping to work their way to playing high level college football.

“Stay focused on your dream. Create yearly goals of what you want to accomplish and stick to them. Make sure you work just as hard on the classroom as you do for the sport itself. They both will help you be successful.”

In closing, Ghea sent out a message about joining the Tigers and of thanks to his coaches.

“Just thank you to my coaches, I’m extremely excited to get on campus and ready to become a Tiger! Also, follow me for updates on Instagram @Ryan_Ghea2025.”

There is no question that the Auburn Tigers got themselves a good one. Ryan Ghea has big-time potential for the future and a great work ethic to go along with it. It will be fun to watch him at the next level as the Tigers look to get back to championship contention.
