Wide Receivers
The wide receiver situation is peculiar for the Packers.
Davante Adams is the sure No. 1 guy, and should be a WR1 in all fantasy football leagues. He had a down year last season, where according to FantasyPros, he ranked 29th for wide receivers in total fantasy points, but he did only play 12 games.
He will no doubt be the top guy for Rodgers and will benefit from an uptick in targets. Adams won’t be on the wide receiver board for long, so take him early.
After Adams? It’s a sticky situation. Both Marquez Valdes-Scantling and Allen Lazard offer a decent option as a flex/bench WR. However, neither have really broken onto the scene where they can relied upon week in and week out. Neither should be taken until the later rounds.
It’s then a far drop-off to Jake Kumerow, Equanimeous St. Brown and Reggie Begelton. But the Packers always seem to have a nobody come onto the scene halfway through the season. It was Lazard last season and Valdes-Scantling before, so keep an eye out for one of these breaking out.
