Tight Ends

The tight end group for the Packers is a big question mark. For fantasy owners, the tight end for the Packers has been something to avoid for years, with Rodgers’ utilization of his tight ends much lower than other teams.

After Jimmy Graham signed with the Chicago Bears, it leaves Jace Sternberger as the No. 1 TE. After Sternberger, there is Marcedes Lewis and Josiah Deguara.

Sternberger will be in his second season at the NFL. Injuries limited Sternberger to seeing snaps in only six games in 2019. But he could sneakily one of the top sleepers of the draft. With Rodgers limited with his options at receiver, that may open up Sternberger to get more targets.

Both Lewis and Deguara should only be options if Sternberger goes down with an injury. Lewis is 36 years old and has a combined 18 receptions the last two season. Deguara comes in as a rookie and seems to be a more versatile weapon for the Packers to use.

While Lewis should be someone to stay away from, Deguara is certainly someone to watch out for and be a waiver wire pick up later in the season if the Packers begin to use him more.
