Fantasy Football outlook for the Patriots’ wide receivers

Julian Edelman, Patriots, Packers
Greg M. Cooper-USA TODAY Sports

Out of the top three receivers on New England, Edelman is your safest pick from a fantasy standpoint. But even though he’s the safe option doesn’t mean he’ll warrant a high selection in your fantasy league.

Edelman is coming off one of his best statistical seasons in 2019, hauling in 100 catches and going over 1,000 receiving yards. But at 34 years old, it’s hard to envision him continuing to have this kind of success, especially with Stidham tossing him the ball.

As for Harry and Sanu, they both could provide some fantasy value late in your drafts. There’s always the possibility of Harry breaking out in his second year with the team, and Sanu should put up better numbers now that he has a better grasp of the playbook.

Regardless, none of the Patriots wideouts are going to have a huge fantasy impact this season. Unless Stidham completely shatters expectations and plays like Pro Bowl quarterback in his first year as a starter.
