According to Pro Football Focus‘s fantasy projection for Brady, they project Brady putting up close to 5,000 yards passing, 26 touchdowns and six interceptions. The 5,000 yard total may surprise some fantasy owners, but when we consider the type of offense Brady will be operating with Arians, 5,000 yards is certainly a possibility.
The duo of Godwin and Evans is arguably the best one-two punch that Brady has ever had to work with at wideout. Arians likes to stretch the field — he’ll pass more often than not and he’ll surely give Brady more than his fair share of opportunities to air it out to one of these Pro Bowl wideouts.
Let’s not forget about the two tight ends Brady will have to work with as well, Rob Gronkowski and O.J. Howard. Arians doesn’t utilize the tight end as much as you’d expect, but with Brady now quarterbacking his offense, he may change his approach a bit.
While some will continue to argue that Brady has lost a step, but his subpar production last season was clearly more evident of a lacking skill position group, not so much because Brady has actually fallen off.
Brady’s transition to Tampa’s pass heavy offense with an assortment of great weapons should get him right back on track. He’ll remind all of us why he’s the GOAT this season as a Buccaneer.
