The New York Giants are heading into the 2020 season with the hope that Daniel Jones can build upon his impressive rookie season. Even if Jones struggles, Saquon Barkley is gearing up to have a bounce-back season in 2020 following an ankle injury last season.

Despite missing three games in 2019, Barkley still accounted for 1,441 yards from scrimmage and eight touchdowns. Going back to his rookie campaign in 2018, Barkley was remarkable, posting 2,028 yards from scrimmage and 15 touchdowns.

Seeing that he’s healthy again, Barkley is poised to return closer to his rookie form in 2018. With Jones still developing under center, Barkley is likely going to be his security blanket in the passing game next season. As a result, that makes him the No. 1 running back in the NFC East when it comes to fantasy football in 2020.
