Jalen Hurts and the Philadelphia Eagles are ramping up in preparation for the upcoming 2023 NFL season. After coming up just short against the Kansas City Chiefs in the Super Bowl last season, the team has big-time goals of completing the process this year. They certainly have the talent to make that happen.

Everything will start with what Hurts is able to do. He has one of the best all-around offenses in the entire NFL around him. However, the Eagles did lose starting running back Miles Sanders to the Carolina Panthers in NFL free agency.

Despite that loss, there have not been higher expectations for the Eagles as they are this season in a very long time. Hurts is expected to be a top-notch MVP candidate and is expected to take yet another step in his all-around development. The sky is truly the limit for the superstar quarterback.

NFL NEWS & RUMORS: Philadelphia Eagles & Jalen Hurts Updates

Former NFL star defensive back Ryan Clark recently revealed a big-time opinion about Hurts in a segment on Get Up. He had some wild comparisons for Hurts’ work ethic.

“I think we have to start comparing Jalen Hurts’ work ethic to some of those maniacal workers that we’ll see in the Hall of Fame soon. Guys like Drew Brees, guys like Tom Brady.”

If you’re interested in watching the clip yourself, here it is:

There has been no question that Jalen Hurts has worked his tail off since coming into the NFL. The Eagles’ coaching staff has been very vocal about how hard he has worked. Clearly, that hard work is paying off when it comes to his production on the field.

NFL NEWS & RUMORS: Philadelphia Eagles & Jalen Hurts Updates

During the 2022 season with the Eagles, Hurts ended up completing 66.5 percent of his pass attempts for 3,701 yards, 22 touchdowns, and just six interceptions. He also racked up 760 yards and 13 touchdowns on the ground.

Very few players, much less quarterbacks, can impact the game like Hurts has proven himself capable of doing. He has also become an elite leader for the Eagles. There are no parts of his game that appear to have major holes in them.

Expect to see Hurts come out looking to prove a point after losing the Super Bowl. He has stayed motivated by the loss all offseason long and it will be fun to see what kind of show he puts on in 2023.
