Randall Cobb and Davante Adams Are Just Fine
There have been concerns about the wide receiver position in Green Bay this offseason. After letting Jordy Nelson go to free up some money, fans and media alike began questioning whether Davante Adams and Randall Cobb could get the job done for Rodgers.
That question was answered in a big way in Week 1 against the Bears, with both players making massive plays to fuel the dramatic comeback.
Adams ended the game with five receptions for 88 yards and a touchdown. Cobb, on the other hand, played the hero of the game, catching nine passes for 142 yards and a touchdown. His one touchdown just so happened to be the 75-yard strike that gave the Packers the 24-23 lead.
Rodgers trusts both of his wide receivers and Geronimo Allison played well. Adams and Cobb leading the way will be just fine for the Packers’ offense.
