Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love has certainly flipped the script in recent weeks, and wide receiver Christian Watson is loving it.

When asked about Love’s phenomenal performance in the Packers’ crucial Week 13 win over the Kansas City Chiefs, Watson raved about his signal-caller.

“The only word I can think of is extraordinary,” Watson said when asked about Love, via the Packers’ official team website. “His ability to make plays, we’re just seeing more and more every single week. We knew he was special when he first got the job.”

Love went 25-for-36 with 267 yards and three touchdowns against the Chiefs. Watson himself had a big outing in the victory, logging seven catches for 71 yards and a couple of scores.

Love has been on a roll over the last three games, totaling eight touchdowns and no interceptions in three straight Green Bay wins. Due to the club’s recent winning streak, the Packers have improved to 6-6 and have vaulted themselves back into the NFC playoff picture after looking dead in the water several weeks ago.

On the season overall, Love has thrown for 2,866 yards, 22 touchdowns and 10 interceptions while completing 61.3 percent of his passes and posting a passer rating of 90.2.

The 24-year-old has certainly endured a roller-coaster ride this year. He got off to a good start, going 2-1 over his first three starts and recording seven touchdowns and one pick. However, over his next six games, Love registered seven touchdowns and nine interceptions as the Packers went 1-5 during that span.

But now, Love seems to be establishing himself as a lock under center for Green Bay in 2024 after many had been wondering if the Packers would go in a different direction next season.

Jordan Love and Green Bay will look to continue their winning ways when they take on the New York Giants next Monday.
