Jordan Love and the Green Bay Packers were one of the NFL’s most pleasant surprises this past season, making a surprise playoff appearance and upsetting the Dallas Cowboys in the Wild Card Round.

Not only that, but the Packers also had a fourth-quarter lead over the San Francisco 49ers in the Divisional Round before ultimately losing.

The future is obviously bright in Green Bay, and Love is ready to take another step forward in 2024.

“We’re all very hungry for this upcoming year,” Love said during an appearance on The Pivot podcast. “The confidence from top to bottom is there. The organization believes that it’s the perfect time to have a chance to win a Super Bowl this year. Those conversations we had after the 49ers game were, man, work harder. Try and find ways to get better because next year we’re gonna do it.”

Love had a phenomenal year in his first full season as the Packers’ starting quarterback, throwing for 4,159 yards, 32 touchdowns and 11 interceptions while completing 64.2 percent of his passes and posting a passer rating of 96.1. Over his last eight regular-season games, Love totaled 18 touchdowns and just one pick. Green Bay went 6-2 in those contests.

The Packers may still be young, but Love doesn’t want to hear that anymore.

“There’s no more, ‘We’re a young team.’ There’s no more of those what ifs,” Love said. “People know what we’re about now. Obviously, we’ll have that target on our back. People want to beat us. We’re hungry. I know everybody in that locker room is hungry and ready to get back. … So, I’m excited.”

Green Bay is playing in a tough NFC North division that features the reigning division champion Detroit Lions as well as an up and coming Chicago Bears team and the Minnesota Vikings.

It certainly won’t be an easy road for the Packers, a franchise that has become accustomed to being one of the top clubs in the conference.

“I think the only way to get that title back is to go win it, so that’s what we’ve got plans on doing this year,” concluded Love.

Jordan Love certainly seems ready for big things next season. We’ll see if his teammates follow suit.
