How Jimmy Graham will impact the Bears’ offense

His Size Will Provide Stability

Let’s be honest, the Bears aren’t working with the cream of the crop at the quarterback position. Mitchell Trubisky struggled mightily in 2019 and there is a chance he could lose his starting job this season. Unfortunately, Nick Foles has had his share of disappointing seasons as well.

Bringing in a big target for either quarterback was necessary. Nagy loves working with big, athletic bodies, which is exactly what Graham is.

Standing in at 6-foot-7 and 265 pounds, Graham still has some speed and a ton of athleticism. He is the kind of tight end who can box out defenders and make plays in crowded spaces. Having that kind of a threat will make life easier on the Bears.

Trey Burton is a solid tight end, but Graham’s size brings a completely new element to the Bears.
