Henry Ruggs III Exceeds 1,000 Receiving Yards

According to ESPN fantasy rankings and projections, Ruggs III projects to gain 788-yards receiving and bring in five scoring receptions. Some were surprised the numbers were so high, I say they aren’t high enough.

Ruggs is an absolute play maker, and given Carr’s ability to find receivers quickly and efficiently, the duo should connect early and often in 2020.

If Ruggs can make even one defender miss after the catch he’s a true threat to take it to the house every time he touches the ball.

Expect the Raiders to take advantage of this fact a ton in 2020. Some of the yards may come in garbage time. This fact won’t help the Raiders in the win/loss columns, but it’ll help fantasy football enthusiasts.

Only one rookie receiver broke 1,000-yards in 2019. That was Tennessee Titans’ receiver A.J. Brown. If there’s only one to hit the mark in 2020, my money is on Ruggs.
