Lamar Jackson, Baltimore Ravens
Lamar Jackson is Going to Rush for Over 100 Yards
The Houston Texans looked badly overmatched in the NFL kickoff game against the defending Super Bowl champions, the Kansas City Chiefs. Patrick Mahomes had his way and was able to pick up right where the Chiefs left off last year. Most offenses cannot begin to compete on the same level of Kansas City, but if there is a team with as many dynamic playmakers, its Baltimore.
Lamar Jackson will take on the role of Mahomes and Clyde Edwards-Helaire on Sunday by beating the Texans single handedly. His passing will do fine and he will rack up some good passing yards, but there will be a huge run or two that pad his rushing yardage.
Jackson Will Have Four Total Touchdowns in the Game
Not only will Jackson find success running and throwing, he will find the endzone plenty of times. Jackson is going to have four total touchdowns between his throws and runs. Jackson is not a power rusher, so his running score will happen for a long way out where he will beat the defense and find pay-dirt.
He will be such an effective runner that he will open up passing lanes and add his running ability with the Ingram/Dobbins tandem, teams will have to cheat on the run in the red-zone. This will create some easy mismatches for scores.
