Sam Darnold, New York Jets

Sam Darnold Will End Up Being Sacked Five or More Times

The New York Jets struggled to keep up with Buffalo on Sunday and a big reason for that was the lack of any kind of rushing attack. The ageless Frank Gore was the team’s leading rusher with just 24 yards and Le’Veon Bell was non-existent running for only 14 yards on 6 carries. Without the ground game the Jets had to pass. A similar fate will await them Sunday as they will turn into a pass happy team.

The more San Francisco knows the pass is coming though, means Nick Bosa and company on the defensive line can tee off and play with their ears pinned back. Bosa is going to have a monster game and the 49ers defense is going to feast on the porous Jets offense. In this one, Darnold is going to struggle.

Sam Darnold Will Throw Two Interceptions in a Blow-Out Loss

In addition to being sacked a lot, Darnold is going to have pressure in his face all game long. This will result in ill-timed throws and trying to force the ball. All around Darnold is going to have a bad game and come away beat up. In order to try and keep pace, New York will need to throw the ball a lot, but the more they throw the more Darnold has a chance to be a little reckless.
