Carson Wentz, Philadelphia Eagles

After a disappointing Week 1 loss to the Washington Football Team, Wentz and the Eagles need to get back on the right path. They will have their chance to do that against the Rams, who defeated the Cowboys in their first game. Wentz will be asked to put together a big game.

Here are two bold predictions for Wentz as he takes on Washington.

2. Wentz Throws For 300 Yards, Three Touchdowns

The Rams do have a decent defense, especially on the defensive line with Aaron Donald. Jalen Ramsey is tough to throw against, but the Eagles have plenty of weapons for Wentz to use. Wentz will put together a quality performance with 300 yards and three touchdowns.

1. The Eagles Come Up Just Short Despite Wentz

Even though Wentz is going to put up a big game for the Eagles, they are going to drop to 0-2 on the season. Los Angeles may not be a Super Bowl contender, but they are a quality football team. The Eagles simply aren’t going to be able to make the necessary winning plays down the stretch.

We are predicting that the Eagles will end up dropping this game 28-24.
