The NFC North began their season with two division matchups. The high-powered game between the Green Bay Packers and Minnesota Vikings was hyped up coming in but it was not the best game of the week in the NFC North.
The Chicago Bears and Detroit Lions played a classic game on Sunday, for Bears’ fans anyway. The Lions held a 23-6 lead heading into the fourth quarter. Chicago began the comeback early and scored 21 unanswered points on three Mitchell Trubisky touchdown passes. They were able to hold on late thanks to a drop in the end zone by rookie D’Andre Swift.
The Vikings and Packers are expected to battle for the division title all season long. Green Bay flexed their muscles early in this one grabbing a 29-10 win and cruising to a season-opening victory. Aaron Rodgers looked as good as ever throwing four touchdowns and not turning the ball over.
The NFC North is going to be one of the most entertaining divisions this season. There are countless storylines around the division and they will be on display in Week 2.
Looking at the quarterback position, here are two predictions for each player in the division.
