Aaron Rodgers, Green Bay Packers
MVP caliber season
So apparently there is this notion that Aaron Rodgers has taken a step back. In 2019, Rodgers threw for 4,002 yards with 26 touchdowns and four interceptions. The year before, he finished with 4,442 yards with 25 touchdowns and just two interceptions. Two. Green Bay made a run to the NFC North title in 2019 and appeared in the NFC Championship Game.
It does not seem like Rodgers is done. Any critic will throw unnecessary analytics at you and try to justify Rodgers being at the end of his rope. Well, that is not the case and the 2020 season will prove it. Rodgers will receive MVP votes in 2020. He will once again throw for 4,000 yards and will have 30+ touchdowns. This is all while keeping his interception total around five and making the Packers better as a whole.
Total of 10 interceptions over three years
This prediction is based on the fact that Rodgers is the best in the league at not turning the ball over. He has not thrown double-digit interceptions in a season since 2010. This is something that he has done just twice during his Hall of Fame career. In 2020, Rodgers can throw four and total just 10 in a three year span.
This is an incredible feat. It was mentioned above that Rodgers threw just two interceptions in 2018 and four in 2019. This was while starting all 16 games during both seasons. His decision making is top notch and that will continue in the upcoming season.
