Kyler Murray
If Bosa was the second player taken in the 2019 NFL Draft, whoever was taken before him had a ton of pressure to live up to. Kyler Murray, who was selected by the Arizona Cardinals with the No. 1 pick, did more than just show he was worthy of being the first player selected.
Despite Arizona’s dismal record, Murray finished last season with 3,722 passing yards, 20 touchdowns, and 12 interceptions. In addition, he was able to scamper for 544 yards and four touchdowns on the ground.
Given his impressive rookie season, Murray was able to take home some hardware, winning the NFL’s Offensive Rookie of the Year Award. Earlier this offseason, the Cardinals were able to rob the Houston Texans, acquiring DeAndre Hopkins via trade. After winning the Offensive Rookie of the Year Award, it won’t be long until Murray is mentioned as an MVP candidate.
